Adopt an Apple Snail

Occasionally when breeding snails you will get the odd one which has a defect, we don’t sell these snails we only sell and send out high grades but perhaps you could adopt one……

All snails will have some form of defect either a misshapen shell or a cleft etc

The snails will be of varied size but mainly around 2-3 cm

Just be mindful of how many snails you adopt as they can grow to the size of of a small apple or golf ball, the maximum we will send out is 5

When adding these snails to your tank they may float for a while as they acclimatise but as they become more confident they will soon be exploring the tank

Apple snails prefer to live with peaceful fish as their very graceful antennae can be nipped at if kept with aggressive fish

WARNING these mystery snails will eat live plants if they're hungry
