Using coconut shells in shrimp tanks offers benefits like providing natural shelter, mimicking a natural environment, and potentially promoting beneficial biofilm growth, all while being eco-friendly and aesthetically pleasing. These shells don’t have door ways they are just half a natural shell, if you want for shrimps and snails to have access maybe you could prop them up or we do sell the shells with doorways, check out our other items.
